These spindly spider crabs decorate themselves in sponges, algae, anemones, and other small organisms as they forage. A well-decorated crab is a master of disguise that may startle you if you spot a sponge or patch of algae suddenly sprout legs!

These giant jellyfish have as many as 1,200 stinging tentacles trailing behind their bell, offering shelter to young crabs, and stunning their prey. Their return to our harbour is one of our favorite parts of the summer!
