Creating the NCEC

A community ecology centre for learning, fostering stewardship, and respecting the local land and its culture.

Visualizing the NCEC

The North Coast Ecology Centre will be a permanent interpretive centre that uses engaging programs and exhibits as a way to build understanding of the North Coast environment.

NCEC Mission

The North Coast Ecology Centre seeks to generate respect and amazement through interaction, while also seeking to provide revitalization and economic stimulus to Prince Rupert.

Place-Based Values

The North Coast Ecology centre acknowledges its location on Indigenous land and will prioritize remaining respectful and inclusive to local culture when educating about the local environment.
