The North Coast Ecology Centre Society is excited to announce a new virtual lecture series! Starting late-February, the Society will be hosting a variety of speakers via zoom to provide interesting and educational content about the North Coast. Topics will range from grizzly bear behaviour to traditional eulachon harvest and local archaeology.
Each speaker will lead a one hour evening session to discuss their work or expertise on the North Coast and answer questions. We are beyond appreciative for those who have volunteered to speak and we look forward to turning this series into an ongoing project to showcase the North Coast.
Lecture 1: February 22, 2021 7:30 p.m. PST
'Coast Conversations: Coast Grizzly Bears' with Megan Baker from the Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge.
